The Entiat River, a tributary of the Columbia River, originates in the Cascade Range and is significant for its salmon and steelhead populations. It joins the Columbia River near the town of Entiat. According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the Entiat River is also known by two variant names: En-ti-at-kwa River and Entiatqua River.
